My clinical approach

Hello, I am Dr Hawramy; a Consultant Psychiatrist. I also hold a masters degree in Clinical Neurology and a degree in Medical Education in the United Kingdom. I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the British Neuropsychiatric Association. I have been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist with the National Health Service (NHS) for many years and have been clinical and educational supervisor for psychiatry core and higher trainees. I have several publications in the field of Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry. My special interest and realm of medical practice is Neuropsychiatry; the Brain-Mind interface, when thoughts, feelings, perceptions, memory, and behaviours are affected due to disruptions of brain development and brain disorders. I provide clinical diagnostic assessment, treatment and expert opinion for adults with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (Learning disability, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Motor Disorders and Specific Learning Disorders) and associated Mental Disorders, Challenging Behaviour, and Neuropsychiatric conditions.
